Common Beginner Questions
1. Does it hurt?
It's a common fear! Being hit feels like a quick snap of a rubber band. The adrenaline usually takes over, and you barely notice it. Plus, wearing loose layers helps cushion the impact.
2. Why can't I just buy a cheap mask?
Cheap masks fog up instantly. Once you can't see, you can't play (and it's dangerous). We only sell masks that meet ASTM safety standards. Spending a little more on a Thermal Lens (dual-pane) is the single best investment you can make.
3. What is the difference between CO2 and Compressed Air (HPA)?
CO2 is the old standard—it's cheap but unreliable in cold weather. Compressed Air (HPA) is modern, consistent, and cleaner for your gun. Most fields (including ours) prefer HPA.
